A minor radio module for joining brilliant meters to a neighborhood center point or passage has been outlined by Cambridge-based Amiho Technology in association with Rohm auxiliary Lapis semiconductor.

The AM060 radio module, which measures only 17.8 x 20.2mm, works at the Wireless Meter-Bus standard of 868MHz. It has fabricated in information streak particularly for brilliant metering and other IoT applications.

For security the organizations have included improved AES 256 encryption.

The module depends on the Lapis ML7345 radio which underpins a scope of frequencies from 169MHz up to 900MHz.

"The ML7345 radio consolidated permits a flexible recurrence choice which implies it can be utilized as a part of an assortment of utilizations and locales where Wireless Meter-Bus and other sub-1GHz ISM groups have been embraced," said Hiroshi Kume, senior item advertising chief at Rohm Semiconductor in Germany.

The AM060 module will be displayed on the Rohm Semiconductor stand at European Utility Week in Vienna (3-5 November).

The module will be upheld by an assessment board permitting quick and can be utilized to test diverse radio modules on the same board.
